I remember that game to, many folks seeking sympathy for the Saints, the NFL delivered...one of the most biased games I've ever seen.

And yet we still only lost by 3, then beat the brakes off of them on their rental field later on.

Best team to beat the Pats,  Vikes easy, they are on a all time confidence high...plus will have home field advantage...

Yep all in on Vikings to win it all. They deserve it after years of failure. And Keenum, Thielen and Diggs are all amazing stories on offense while that defense is badass and respectable. Don't really like Zimmer much but whatever. "Skol" Vikings this year, I hope they win it all at home.

You are clearly not reading what I said correctly.

You are correct, I did misunderstand you the first time, sorry about that.  But holding calls are missed every game, regardless of who is playing.  Refs are human.

Regardless, the game changers were the PI's, and they were legit.  Those, and the stupid but completely legit delay of game that Jacksonville got after a time out.  That one was a real killer, and their coach admitted such.  Most of Jacksonville's penalties were just boneheaded mistakes on their part.  The Pats didn't commit any boneheaded mistakes, which is why they won.

And if it was rigged, there is no way the two most popular franchises in the NFC (Green Bay and Dallas) wouldn't have had a 10 year plus SB drought.  More than that for Dallas.

    • I watched a clip of all the offensive snaps. Young threw into some tight coverage and the guys made some plays on the ball. He also really missed some throws.  He has this middle of the field thing into a tight window pretty good and made three or four nice plays but he was just too inconsistent with his accuracy especially in the red zone. Today and in general.    That Int where people were chastising Legette for ‘not fighting through the coverage’, he in no way could have gotten to that ball. IMO. I think he thought it was going to hit the ground and didn’t see the defender coming for it. But not sure what he could have done. The camera doesn’t show the spatial relationship very well, I think the ball was way off. maybe 6 feet or more off target to the inside of the field.  Rico is a beast. And a very good receiver.   That was my impression without dissecting and rewinding, just letting the video roll. I did rewind the int two or three times to look at that one.
    • My biggest issue with keeping Darnold, which I felt we should have done, is we would still have Fitterer. And everything that came with that.  I think Morgan is going to be good.  Baker, just did not play well at all here. Not sure what else we were supposed to take away from it at the time.  That’s my short ‘I don’t want to argue about it’ take.
    • Even if we somehow make the playoffs we will be one and done so fast. Seattle, Rams, TB, Panthers, Detroit and Philly are all better than us.
