The greatest advantage the Panthers have is having Cam Newton and Luke Keuchly. No other team has such a combination. Two QB’s on different sides of the ball. That’s why we always compete despite lack of sufficient talent. Luke is dissecting opposing QBs.

Imagine if we had 1 more allstar on offense and 1 more on defense... hmm

What happened when we had anything remotely resembling that? 17-2 SB Run. I wont call ginn an allstar but in retrospect he was incredibly crucial to our offense and we sorely missed him last season. Our secondary has been in shambles since Norman left

Make it happen Hurney

Getting back Olsen healthy should definitely help a lot offensively. Curtis Samuel has all the traits minus proven NFL hands to be a stud alongside Christian McCaffrey. Big difference between game 1 against the Falcons and game 2 was Samuel and the separation he brought.

Wonder if Daeshon Hall can show anything year two. Really sucks Hurney redshirted him last year but I have high hopes for him and Corn Elder.

Year three for both Bradberry and Worley in a scheme that should definitely give them a lot of help if Eric Washington's words become truth. I'd expect our secondary to be much better.

Seems every year we have high hopes for a CB, DE, and WR.

Everybody that year wanted Brockers.  I wanted Fletcher Cox and didn't understand picking Luke.

As it worked out, they are both beasts. The draft is a total crapshoot, so anytime you can luck out on a player like Luke, well, you just count your blessings.

Jon Beason had just signed a big contract we had no Star or KK. It looked like a dumb move based on our roster. Everyone was saying "hes going to be a pro bowler BUT"

    • No saying he mostly sucks is saying that he doesn’t suck the minority of the time.   Like if he took 17 tests and had a couple of really good showings and a handful of pretty good scores sprinkled in among the typical sub par results.   Like a golfer who went out and shot an 89.  There will be some real nice shots sprinkled in there but at the end of the day it is still 89.
    • It's worth mentioning... Game 1: Oct 11 in Raleigh. 4-3 OT win with a complete starting lineup. Game 2: Dec 13 in Philly. 4-3 SO win without Jaccob Slavin. Game 3: Dec 14 in Raleigh. 3-2 SO win with a complete starting lineup. Game 4: Apr 13 in Philly. 3-2 SO loss with the AHL roster.  Those early season games were no indication of the Canes team that finished the season. Miller and Ehlers were still trying to figure things out, Nikishin was still a work in progress and the Stankoven line was just another line. Make no mistake, the Canes team Philly will see is nothing close to what they saw at any point in the season. If the top line starts producing, Freddie stays hot and the blue line does what it does, this could be a sweep as well.
