I admittedly would not have. Ironically, the two players I wanted most went in the next two picks. I wanted either Stephon Gilmore or Dontari Poe so we would've ended up with a good player but not Kuechly. If I remember correctly, I think I would've taken Poe.

Both fine players but neither elite or even close to it. And I'm not sure I would've taken him either. I liked the pick actually but Luke wasn't really on my radar leading into that draft. 

 

However, I think Luke was a Rivera pick and not a Hurney pick.

Not true.  I was contacted by Panther attorneys with a cease and desist letter.  Obviously,, I cannot discuss details, but let's just say that must have seen my resumes.
