Jarvis Landry Sunmed Up In Two Tweets.

He’s going to be overpaid by the Dolphins and continue to make them suffer, but anyways since a lot here have this weird crush on Landry, I think this objective pure stat will serve to only substantiate my claim he’s unproductive and inflated by target numbers that do little to explain his truly bad game.

You expect slot receivers to pick up the chains on third downs, but Landry has been one of the bottom in the NFL at doing that.

I digress.

Hahahahahahaha.. The infatuation with other Wrs who don't nearly come close to putting up his numbers is hilarious.. Also the use of 3rd level stats to discredit the production is comical..lol

"His catch rate  in December during a rain storm  and Xmas shopping is low" smh..

Dude in 4 years avg. 1000 yards 80+ rec. And 7 tds a season.. He is a punt and kick returner has great hands and known to run great routes...

If you don't think that's a number 1? I can't help you...

Jarvis Landry finished the season ranked 108th in yards per catch at 8.8.

To put that into context, the ONLY wide receiver with a worse yards per catch this season was Cole Beasley.

This was not an aberration. Landry has a career yards per catch average of 10.1...horrible for a wide receiver.

He is strictly a possession receiver. Nothing more.

He’s not overrated but likely to get overpaid, nature of the business. If you watch him play than you know better to say he’s overrated

If he played on the outside like the true #1 WR's do every game, there is no way he puts up those numbers. He gets to play in space and not see the #1 CB every play. Not fair to put him amongst the best in the NFL, if he isn't actually playing against the best.

Saying that he is a great at what he does, which is play the slot WR.

    • Nobody played well on defense last night. But, the vitriol towards Chatfield (and to a lesser extent, K'andre) is bigly misplaced. People (not just you) just refuse to accept how bad Slavin has been this season. And, I get it. Canes fans (and informed analysts) have spent nearly a decade trying to explain to casuals just how good Jaccccob is at hockey. 4Nations happened and the hockey watching public started to listen. National media even started floating the idea of creating a new award in his honor. Then this season, he gets hurt. It happens. NBD. But, when he finally came back, it wasn't the same. He'll get back to his old self in no time. Probably just some rust, it'll be fine. Only, it wasnt rust, and he's not fine. He's bad right now. It wasnt just last night. Although, that was absolutely the worst game of his NHL career. Slavin (-4) currently has the 3rd worst +/- of anyone left in the playoffs. We've  been begging the world to recognize Jaccob Slavin's greatness. And, by the time we finally got people to listen, he shits the bed! I blame Kash!
    • According to Scott Fowler, in an article about former Panthers announcer applying for a job with the Ravens... what that job pays, incidentally, when the Ravens posted it publicly they said the salary would be $4,000 to $5,000 per game. An NFL season consists of 20-24 games, including the preseason and potential playoff games, so it will end up somewhere between $80,000 and $120,000 a year. The person hired will be an independent contractor, which is commonplace in the NFL these days for team broadcasters, and also have other radio and TV hosting assignments.  https://www.charlotteobserver.com/sports/nfl/carolina-panthers/article315839800.html
    • That’s a good find. We will see. Who is still here from when he was?
