If he can stay healthy for camp and then the season we’ll be completely fine. Still a big if but for a lot of guys the injury bad luck stops sooner or later.

8 weeks typically for broken foot. 

Don't know when he had surgery, but OTA's are 3 full months away. 

I'll hold off on reacting to this news.

He needs to work on his hands.   I don't know if its reasonable to expect him to do that in boot.  His rookie season was pretty poor, even when healthy.  There were some flashes, but also a huge screw-up, so percentage wise, he looks  bad.    Here's to hoping he heals up, loses the rookie yips, and doesn't lose another season.
