Restaraunt Help- North Charlotte

I don't know what you mean by nice. I never get out there but happened to be in the University area Sunday and we ate at Cheddars, its like an Applebees but with decent food, nicer decor, and a pretty good menu. It's not Chez Ritz but I've been there a few times over the years and its always been consistently good.

I go to Charlotte about once every three months for work, and Harris blvd has several nice places, both chain and non chain. But I probably have a different definition of nice.  I remember going to a small hole in the wall Jamaican place near UNCC that had good food, relatively cheap, and I thought it was very nice.

Unfortunately, I can't remember any names.  :)

Cheddars is actually pretty good and you described it well. Never had a bad meal there.

"Nice" options are limited in the area. But here are a couple in the UNCC area:

Firewater (Probably the only thing close to an "upscale" restaurant in the area).

Nakato - Japanese

Edgewater (inside the Hilton)

Ciros (small Italian joint that been around for years)

As far as Concord Mills - the options are endless but nothing "nice". Mostly chains as mentioned. I always wind up at Texas Roadhouse when in that area which is underrated for a good steak.

Ciros is good. I haven't been there in 10 years though.  Fiesta maya on Harris is pretty good too.

Not trying to be rude but you are looking on the wrong side of town. There’s nothing out there for you. Better off driving 20-30 mins to a different part of town.

Yeah, not for me. Guy I work with is headed that way.

I usually stay in town when I travel, which is why I'm asking about north.

Last time I was at Cheedars a mouse ran across the table.  No fuggin lie.

Oh and avoid that Jersey Mikes over there, spent the weekend vomiting after my last visit to that shethole.

    • The lack of discipline has seriously been our downfall the last month. Seems like we just went off course this last month and Lee won't address it. You can't just live and die by the 3 when you can attack the paint and at worst draw a foul
    • Great season regardless of what happens. From starting out 4-14 to ending 44-38 is incredible progress and future is bright from here. I do think we can beat the Heat and then win on the road against either Orlando or Philly assuming Embiid doesn’t miraculously return sooner. But if not, a higher draft pick is nice too
    • I know a DT that's asking for a trade: 🤔 maybe a home discount can be worked out. Dan Morgan could create up to $80 million in space through restructures of stars like Derrick Brown, Jaycee Horn, or Taylor Moton. They could also include players like Tershawn Wharton ($18.6M cap hit) in the trade to balance the salaries. Carolina Receives: DT  Dexter Lawrence II New York Receives: 2026 2nd Round Pick (No. 51 Overall): A premium Day 2 selection that fits the for  Lawrence  after his 0.5-sack season in 2025. WR  Xavier Legette : A young, high-upside receiver who provides the playmaking depth HC John Harbaugh needs for his offense. 2026 4th Round Pick: Immediate mid-round value. 2027 4th Round Pick (via MIN): Future capital acquired in the  Adam Thielen  trade.  ----- Stone Forsythe* (another young player as a potential trade option)provides immediate offensive line retooling for HC John Harbaugh.    John Harbaugh's history in Baltimore proves he values draft volume over individual superstars.    Just my 2cents
