A good time of year for Props......

I don't think many of you realize how nice it is to have a forum like the Carolina Huddle.  This forum is top of the line.  All teams have forums and some have multiply forums but none of them are as good as this one. (might be as good but none better)

I stumbled into this forum when I was a member of the Charlotte Observer's Panther Forum page, which they eventually dropped more than 10 years ago.  I believe it was 2003 or 2004 when I joined.  I think it was the Huddle (Huddle or Observer only Panther forums I belonged to) that had numbers assigned to the registered poster.   I had one that had 33 on it.  Whether it was the Huddle I cannot remember.  CRS syndrome kicks in more frequently these days.

We have had the pleasure of some insanely good posters here.   Many brought some great conversations and through the years they have come and gone.

ZOD/JEREMY I personally thank you for this forum.   As a person that has works overseas most of the past 15 years this forum has been a stress relief spot for me.

Those that are new, you don't know how really good it is to have this forum.  It is easy to maneuver through and for the most part has some really good topics.

Thanks Jeremy

Personally, I feel that this was more pep talk for Jeremy than anything else.  Some of his threads lately have been somewhat covert cries for help.   A few thread titles:

So....

Hi there

Know the warning signs, people!  Jeremy, we are here for you. We are excellent listeners.

    • You’re playing madden we’re talking real football stuff…. He does have you seen his special on internet he def thinks he’s getting paid
    • Without the team having an identity kinda hard to predict what they value.  They either are really trying to build a balanced team, or preparing for another swing at qb if Bryce doesn’t pan out. Seems like we value the o line but the $ spent there has been underwhelming besides Lewis, you could say it’s because of injuries but still hasn’t been worth the investment. as already stated, the whole handling of Bryce young as a whole has been ass backwards, we spent the years we’re supposed to take advantage of having a qb with a lower cap hit, building the team up to be adequate. now It appears, key word appears, the saints have done it correctly, which is painful to even think about. Regardless, I hope the front office has paid attention to qb contracts recently, such as Tua, Kyler, Daniel jones(pre colts) and don’t settle for subpar qb play at franchise qb rates
    • This is the flaw in your logic.  Cutting 3 of our best players will somehow move us from whatever we are to "compete". Even the most Young super fans are not predicting a ceiling above top 10-12, and that will not nearly cut it.  Someone will need to break the log jam of QBs getting nothing or North of 50. Our qb is at best a middle ground, lets hope it will be us that also manage to pay the worth at about 100 over 3 years.  And before you jump me, yes that is only of he improves.
