I like these options. Although Newhort is more of a finesse guy and doesn't really fit our power base o-line

I would be pretty hyped if we got Jordan Mathews for the right price. hard hard pass on T eifert though that back aint getting any healthier.

I’ll remember to come find you when he has another 1,000 yard season

is a 1000 yard season really worth 16 million dollars?(over half our free cap) and the loss of an 2nd/3rd round pick. Come find me when a team with Jarvis Landry on it wins a play off game. you know, things that actually matter....1000 yard season.... just lol.

Hes not a downfield threat , hes been primarily used as a slot WR and we already have Samuel and CMC. Would be a horrible move especially considering the price point.

He wasn't a down field threat in Miami offense with a weak armed QB.. We don't know what he can do in our or another system that goes down field more.. Can we just say that??

I know some of you aren't football savey.. But running great routes and having great hands usually can help a WR be a down field threat...

Hurney wants some speed,  and Turner likes size.  So,  Landry doesn't check either box.  Not worried!

Can you imagine letting Norwell walk and picking up an inflated contract for Jarvis Landry?

This isn't happening.

I'll take great route running and great hands over speed any day..

But not at the price or a pick.. No way they make this deal..

NFLN talking about Landry, says it’s very possible that he gets tagged and then traded. There’s about 8 teams being talked about as possible landing spots, Carolina being one of them. Wouldn’t be mad if he ends up in Charlotte.

Nah!  Next!!!!

I think with an actual QB Jarvis Landry could be a poor mans Antonio Brown which isn't poor by any means. The guy averaged 12.1 yards per reception in 2016, he could be at the 14/15 yards per reception mark in Carolina. Mind you that stats was based off 94 receptions. Far from a "scat back" as many have posted.

If we are going to pay14-16 million a year and give up a draft pick shouldn’t we be looking for a receiver with a history of being able to do what Cam does best which is throw deep.

i think Landry is a very good receiver but I’m not sure he is the best match for what we need.

We need an outside receiver that has the ability to win deep.  I would prefer someone like Robinson, Watkins, or Bryant.
