Assume no more free agents are signed ....

CB S DE

save TE for next season.  Like RB, we already have a starter, and Greg is still playing at a high level

you need to fill spots that are dire needs right now.   yeah it would be nice to find a 2nd TE to EVENTUALLY replace greg, but we need to replace CB S RIGHT NOW

maybe there will be really good prospects for the TE position to come out next season

With Hurney who the fug knows?  Me? I would take the best player I thought would provide the most help at one of the many holes on this team in the draft.  Not going to be easy drafting so late.

I would be scouring other teams roster for potential trades and cuts well before the draft.   The draft alone won't fix this mess.

Just for poos and giggles, assume no more free agents are signed.

What is your positional draft priority?

I would say

S

TE

CB

G

RB

DE

Was just about to make this same thread.

I agree with this order 100%. RB, DE, and WR are gonna get the shaft unfortunately but we have enough to make do for now. That extra 3rd rounder is clutch right now.

Sad but true. What’s sadder is we’re almost out of cap.

    • Winning games and be a +500 team are good. But the goal is to win Super Bowl.  Chiefs had Alex Smith, went to playoff twice and still replaced him.   BY as of now: - To many fumbles - Completion in the intermediate range is just far below acceptable - Not enough of a deep throw threat....   The stats you try use is deceiving.  Catchable......  That is an opinion. Show me the completion %. And also, how does BY compare to other QBs using the stats you cited. Oh... ranked at 27

    • The Entitlement Paradox: When Winning Isn't Enough for Panther fans.    Just the other season(s) we were praying for wins by any means. Brought in every run of the mill QB you could think of.  We know all sides of the ball was bad like egregious bad. However some how we have won 5 games and TOXIC ENTITLEMENT has emerged.    We are a team that has to take wins by anymeans nothing has changed. Keep pounding means it aint gonna be perfect!!    Some panther fans have now developed a toxic entitlement where even victories feel insufficient, demanding flawless performance, or perfection, which stems from historical success in which we dont have any lol. This mindset poisons communities by fostering relentless criticism, harassment, and ingratitude that undermine team morale and alienate casual supporters. For the new Carolina Panthers, this could manifest as fans booing Bryce Young after gritty wins for low passing yards despite low turnovers, pressuring tepper into premature changes mid-rebuild, or driving away talent through online abuse!! eroding the positive momentum from their recent 4-game streak has brought us. Trust and believe the players do see your toxicity.    Anyways here are some positive stats.      Most Accurate QB on... 20+ Yard Throws 1. Drake Maye (79.2%) 2. Sam Darnold (79.2%) 3. Bryce Young (75.0%) 10-19 Yard Throws 1. Jaxson Dart (88.0%) 2. Jayden Daniels (82.9%) 3. Drake Maye (80.7%) 0-9 Yard Throws 1. Drake Maye (92.9%) 2. Spencer Rattler (92.6%) 3. Bryce Young (91.7%) @FantasyPtsData
