Nobody is forcing anybody to continue to work for JR if they don't like his behavior. Everybody has free will to leave. There are plenty of companies out there. Weigh the pros and cons and if the con of your boss's behavior is too much then leave and go elsewhere. If everybody feels that way about a boss, like JR, then the matter will take care of itself and he'll have to change his behavior or his business will fail because he won't be able to hire anybody. In a free market discrimination will take care of itself and those that discriminate are ultimately only hurting themselves.

And, that the big SI piece they could muster up only 1 alleged case of him using a racial slur in all his years of working with tons of different people tells me it's absolutely nothing. The sexual discrimination allegations on the other hand do certainly point towards him being a creep and an uncomfortable guy to be around for some but being a creep and saying uncomfortable things isn't a crime and it's extremely easy for any "victims" to make it stop---stay away from the guy. I wouldn't want to be around a guy like that either, but that doesn't mean that his "punishment" for being a creep should be that he's essentially forced to sell his team. I don't participate in that behavior and I don't agree with any of that type of behavior, however the response is completely over the top and ridiculous. All this assuming that the allegations are true, which is hardly a given.

This long response doesn’t answer what I asked.

Do you think it’s a big idea to be called a racial slur or to have a sexist remark spewed at you?

That’s because it’s human nature for it to exist and it will always exist no matter what law is passed or how many are passed. And can you name a truly free market in recent history? The US has never had one, not even close. We’ve actually had plenty of laws that acted to help business owners discriminate. I’m just as against those as any other law that acts to limit business. My point wasn’t that it would eliminate it completely but that it will only serve to hurt the discriminator.

I wasn't just talking about US history, I was talking about history as a whole.

Also, you just said that that the free market would eliminate discrimination - or more accurately you said, "take care of itself" - and now you saying that that's not the case - that it would only "hurt the discriminator" whatever the hell that means. How exactly does it hurt him? Show me any instance in history where discriminatory practices have naturally sorted themselves out via the free market to the detriment of the owner without regulation or wholesale public uprising that ultimately results in regulation or forced compliance. You can't, but I'd like to see you try.

Essentially you're saying "Well people are racist, sexist, homophobic etc. pricks! Nothing we can do to change that, so we should just let them treat labor anyway they choose because, well, the free market might do something bad to them or something"

So, you and Jon Snow feel it’s perfectly fine for the owner of a business to act and treat their employees? Am I reading this right? I’m not surprised y’all feel this way, but still interesting to see it openly admitted.

Also, it’s never as simple as just “leaving and going elsewhere” when it comes to jobs and obtaining a new one. One shouldn’t have to put up with dealing with mentally abusive behavior to begin with.

Don't bring me into this.  Point out anywhere that I have posted anything remotely close to any of the bs you just posted.

Keep my name out of your petty bs.  If you have a problem with me shoot me a PM and we can discuss this like men.

I just wanted to know you two’s thought process when it came to that post. I mean, do you feel it’s ok for the owner, ceo, or president of a company to pretty much treat their employees any type of way? And if they do, do you feel they should “just leave” and go work for another company or should they bring it to light preventing others from having to go through the same thing?

You should probably just go ahead and put me ignore me, though. I can’t promise I won’t refrain from posting your name.

There's sufficient evidence to conclude that Richardson did plenty of things wrong.

I'm sure he doesn't feel he did, but plenty of guys who've done terrible things will tell you they don't see what all the fuss is about.

Possibly, but you haven't seen any of it so how would you know?

Maybe because the man or anyone from his camp have yet to deny anything?

I typically stay away from the mainboard until preseason. Gonna stick with that again this year.

That's a different story and argument. We haven't seen evidence. There isn't even a trial.
