NFL can't make marijuana use legal, it would be a competetive disadvantage when all the free agents wanted to sign with Denver or Seattle.

Yes weed would be the primary factor in FA decision making in the NFL.

Not like millions of dollars, taxes, weather, family, system, coaches,  friends, schools and 100 other reasons would come before a herb that can be bought across the USA legally or illegally whether it's made legal or not.

Totally

And as a private organization they have the right to put it on their list. That right is much more important than anyone’s opinion of marijuana. One day hopefully you guys will understand that.

Whether it’s legal or not is the argument everyone can debate.

I believe it's understood perfectly. Some just think that is stupid. To the contrary as a private organization they can chose to do the opposite too. Let's be perfectly honest in understanding why it's a law and it is nothing to do with it's danger to anyone.

It should be legalized and untested for across  any kind of level you could possibly think of.

if you think MJ should be illegal, FUG YOU

It's a crock of sht that this country politicians have shown a blind eye to the ludicrous arcane marijuana illegal stature while fully supporting tobacco and alcohol.  The fact that corruption runs so deep in this country that big pharma and big tobacco can keep the citizens living in this pretend fantasy where marijuana is evil just makes me sick to my stomach.  I can't wait to move out of North Carolina, a state that still hasn't even legalized medical marijuana.

Personally, I think it should be legalized. That being said, the NFL has it on their banned list so any player making hundreds of thousands of dollars (at the low end) or millions of dollars and still uses it with the chance they will lose out on those paychecks and hurt their team, perhaps that guy isn't someone you want on your team.

This isn't like you or I who might get into a little bit of trouble for casual use, or no trouble at all even, but someone who could end up losing a ton of money and perhaps cost their team a win or two because they can't play because of a suspension. That's just stupidity.

This from the green rush daily

"If you’re planning to off yourself with weed, you’re going to have to fatten up those joints and smoke fast. Each one of the 20,000 plus joints would need about .9 grams in it. Not to mention, researchers estimate you’ll need to smoke them all in 15 minutes to die. That’s 1,500 pounds of marijuana in 15 minutes. Good luck gathering that much weed and consuming it all in a quarter of an hour."

Aside from being the safest thing out there. The medicinal properties make it a possible cure for many common ailments. Bottom line is they're more interested in you being sick or making yourself sick than you living a healthier life.

I forget the guys name but he's in Canada and he wrote the cancer society a letter telling them that his concentrated mj serum had already cured two people he knew with terminal cancer. They responded to him saying they weren't interested in herbal cures for cancer. People are dying every day from chemo alone and they're not interested in herbal cures?!?

The problem is that weed is a schedule 1 drug(which is soo fuggin stupid), so on a federal level it is more dangerous than cocaine. The NFL will not change its stance on this until its decriminalized. No matter if its legal on a state level. As someone who has smoked for over 20 years, if I was able to land a job, playing a game for millions, I believe I'd put it down for the next 5-10 years. I'd smoke like Willie when I was done, though!!

It's dangerous to big pharma profits. That's the main reason. It has nothing to do with Americans health or prosperity. A guy named R. Gallo came out recently and claimed to hold the patent for AIDs. Who bought it from him?

Sickness is profitable and provides a win win proposition for the most anti-human among us. Energetic medicine has been patented out of existance.

We already have the technology to stop aging and sickness. We already have the technology to make "energy" free (ex. Keshe foundation). Smart people have already figured out antigravity. Patents. Who owns them is who is holding humanity down in the dark ages.

So we're all supposed to use outdated and useless and harmful medicine and technology to so called protect a couple old guys pockets? It's long been time for America to shake these flees off. Glad the WH agrees. We're supposed to be Jetsons by now not Brady's.

I'll see myself off to the tinderbox now...
