Should Jerry Richardson be in the War Room?

Mr. Scot

I mean even if he's there, he'll be sitting in his seat with his eyes rolled in the back of his head. Stone-faced and frowny. It's not like he will be some kind of spectacle to see. Hell you could have a cardboard cut out of him sitting there instead and it would basically have the same effect.

Let him be there. Let him have one last moment. Then it's time to ride off into the sunset, with barrels full of money.

Lol, no he's not going to be in the war room unless he likes losing money.  The dude is trying to sell a multi-billion dollar business.  You don't think all the minority owners and his advisors are telling him to stay far away from the public eye while this is going on?

Who cares.

I'm interested in the selections and how they will help the team and not the sideshow drama you live for.

Well, it's better than living just to whine and b--ch about what other people want to talk about, right?

Now that would be a pretty pathetic existence.

Should he? No.  Will he?  If he's breathing he will be there.

Yeah, don't have any doubt that he will. I do question whether he should.

I'm blanking on the name of the guy that had to sell the Clippers, but it's pretty clear the NFL looks at Richardson the same way the NFL did him.  If the timing had been similar, I can't imagine they'd have wanted him sitting in on one final draft.

When this whole thing is over, I won't be surprised if the NFL acts like Richardson never existed.

I have been fully expecting the "investigation" into the shenanigans old JR is accused of just may come to a conclusion right around the time of the owners meeting.  I would be willing to bet that the report will be a factor in the behind closed doors negotiations.
