Great thread idea--

Mine is a 2 part response, a coming-of-age tale of caution and woe (I say stuff like that because it pisses Huddler off):

Cleveland:  Perhaps not wanting to remind Brown fans of the Richardson/Manziel fiasco, should have gambled a bit.  If they had taken Barklay at #1, the Giants may have taken Chubb..or they would have traded to a QB-seeking team--probably Buffalo.  Let's say Buffalo would not have drafted Allen just to make this the worst case scenario. 

Buffalo probably would have take Darnold.

NY Jets would have taken one of the Josh QBs--Allen or Rosen.

At #4, Mayfield.

Was the risk worth it?  Mayfield/Barkley vs. Mayfield/Ward?

HONORABLE MENTION: I want to say Seattle because they got a RB who would have been a second/third rounder.  I really like Penny, but why pay a dollar when you could have got him for 50c?

NIOT SURE if this was really DUMB or NOT, so I am going with REALLY ARROGANTLY CUTE: New England tends to try to get cute in the draft--and they have been successful--but they have had the NFL's best qb of all time for 15 years. 

Taking Wynn to play at T was not that stupid, because if he does not work out you can move him to G or even C.  However, that early?  Then taking Michel with his bone-on-bone knee issue, knowing I guess that you can get 1 contract out of him. 

THE WORST DEAL OF THE DAY:  New Orleans: Giving 2 1sts for Davenport, a raw player who could just as easily bust as succeed?  The only  player I am giving 2 firsts for is a QB.
