Ban Chuck and RetiredFootballCoach?

If you ban every self-important diva from the site, then it will just be a couple of lurkers and the chirping of crickets around here.

Put 'em on ignore and move on.

Let's face it, this is the biggest ego-boost Chuck's had in years and RCC is begging for attention. Things like this are like candy to them.

Absent viable threats of violence or defamation I think banning someone from a message board is wrong and likely counterproductive.

If they ban someone, or IP ban someone, all the person has to do is find a new IP address/cell phone and register with a new email. It’s the definition of insanity. This is like Chuck’s 13th account, the one dude who went on a racist rant a couple years ago is back....I forgot his name I think it was Hollywood....etc.  I was banned back when I was in college like 2007 right before the great huddle crash and Igo had to redo everything.  I’m surprised King Tharaq never came back with a different account.

    • Another thread where the Huddle melts down over a Bryce comment.  "Conversations" and "Bryce Young has been signed to a new long-term contract" are still far away from being the gospel.  For a fanbase that has watched two top-3 drafted QBs come here, and us move on, only to see them elevate their play elsewhere, I find it comical. Bryce is flawed but this org is damned if you do and damned if you don't with BY9.  Why would our GM and HC say anything other than supportive about their QB1. Yes, he's extended, but I truly do not think if he goes out and has a repeat of the previous seasons, that he is here beyond 2027. They're giving him every opportunity and surrounding him with a ridiculous amount of assets on both sides of the ball. If he continues to pitch 110 yd/ game and cough up the ball while everyone else is busting their ass, no way Dan keeps him beyond the extension.
    • Ooof, I was not a Proctor fan. I agree w/ a lot of smarter folks than me that he's more of a guard and think his weight fluctuation is going to be something to navigate. I liked Lomu a lot, but figured there would be more talented guys there at 19. I also wasn't big on bringing in a TE via the draft. If it's not a vet (Njoku) or a trade for Mayer or Kmet, I'd just as soon see what the youngsters have. No need cluttering the room with more of the same.
    • Sam Darnold & Bryce Young are two very different Qbs ..just saying the last 25 years approximately 2/3 of ALL  first round Qb's  in the NFL were or are bust.so for everyone who makes it like a Sam Darnold you have two that don't make it or are a bust
