New Offensive coordinator - not promoted from within

New Defensive Line Coach - not promoted from within

New Linebackers Coach - not promoted from within

New QB coach - not promoted from within

New Asst ST coach - not promoted from within

Not saying they won't do it this time but they have brought in a lot of outside experience this year.

I would hope our DC has some say in this.  He obviously wants to implement more man coverage.  Hopefully he can find a coach suited to the new direction he wants to take the defense.

Pagano or Spagnuolo would be good in case Washington gets a HC job in a couple years. If by chance the coaching staff doesn't get New Ownerified.

Other available options include Ray Horton, Dennis Thurman and Chris Harris.

Pagano and Spagnuolo are the only ones I know of with any actual Rivera connection.  Rivera and Spagnuolo were colleagues when Rivera was with the Eagles. Rivera and Pagano haven't worked together directly that I know of, but Rivera and Pagano's brother John were on staff together in San Diego.

I'd definitely prefer one of the outside options, and there are some darn good choices available.

Any coach worth anything currently holding a secure job would be insane to jump into the mystery status of the Panther's organization right now.

We'll get a cast-off or a never-been-and-hope.
