I'm interested in seeing how Ron changes under David Tepper. He (Ron) strikes me as somebody who understands that you have to keep your boss happy, but he has also shown the ability to still take care of the players which has commanded their respect.

With JR being out and the onus no longer being on harmony but rather winning under Tepper, I expect Ron to adjust in order to keep his new boss happy.

Nothing Chud did was new not even the fumblerooski, but he was a better OC for Cam than Shula statwise. We didn't have THIS defense back then.

I recall how opportunistic our defense was. Consistently creating turnovers and giving the offense a short field.

Rivera feeling pressure or not isn't why I think we will go to the playoffs.  I think we'll go because we have a complete team that has the potential to dominate on both sides of the ball.  I think we are horrendously underrated and will surprise many observers.

Of course all of this comes with the caveat that players develop and play as they are reasonably expected to and we don't have a rash of injuries to key players.

So, evidently that’s a no. He got his “Riverboat” nickname by consistently going for it on 4th and short when he would have historically punted in those situations.

He had the back against the wall mindset. And the team was more aggressive/took more risks and that yielded better results.
