Major Rule (Point of Emphasis Change)

Players who dive will now be treated the same as players that slide.....even at the goal line. This will definitely greatly impact Cam. I wonder if it will apply to players who dive into the end zone for effect rather than need.

That’s completely fuging retarded but yeah we may benefit more than others with Cam’s style.

Lets hope we see a new Cam that can hand the ball off to several other people to get one yard. Fug me our QB getting piled on again and again! Hes big and strong....but hes not Ironman. Gonna keep doing that poo until hes out for week or the season.

Yeah this seems like it would hurt us, not help.

3rd and goal. Cam scrambles. Cam dives five yards, takes a shot, but still manages to stretch the ball over goal line.  Ref places ball at 5 year line, spot where the ball was when Cam dived head first towards goalline.  4th down.

Yeah seems like a net negative for us if they are interpreting it that say. Basically takes diving away as an option. May as well just slide or put your head down and power it forward.

Can’t put your head down to initiate contact anymore. These rules are getting ridiculous. Tort law even recognizes something called assumption of the risk. NFL players do that. They assume the risk of playing a game where you beat each other up for 60 minutes. It is only the hidden data about concussions that put the NFL on its heels. This is all the league’ s way of trying to offset that.
