Is Seymour that awful?

Seymour is basically Darryl Worley minus the run support. As bad as Worley was in coverage, at least he was a really solid tackler. I felt like he may have been a safety that we were playing out of position.

Seymour is just flat out awful. Jackson needs to be given every opportunity to earn that spot.

100% Agree.

So I’m wondering. What was his overall grade for the game? Did he play better after being beat the first qtr?

how did the rest of our team do, like Doss?

its really hard to know what to expect because we played very basic defense playing 10 yards off. We gave up over 100 yards to each of the 3 QBs.

He got burned by a 4th stringer after being put back in. I liked Doss better.

No.  He was beaten two more times, one should have been a touchdown, saved by an overthrow.

Yes, he is bad, but not 300 yds to Julio Jones bad. It will be hard for for a DB to have a worse game than Benewikere. Gonna be hard to forget that game.

This wasn't against Ryan and Julio.  That level of play would have been 300 yards against them.

You sure about that?  We are talking about The same guy that threw 5 picks in one half and one of the slowest receivers in the league made you look silly. From what I saw Ryan and Julio could have hung 500 on him

    • The intro to the article talked about how they picked the teams and it wasn't just on overall career, it was a factor, but their peak ability also factored in. He 100% should be on a roster like this, because it was building the best roster from players since 2000, not the best careers during that time. And no matter how you slice it, CMC's peak ability if he could have had a long healthy career would have made him one of the best RBs of all time.  He had back to back seasons with over 1k rushing and 100 catches, with the 2nd of them also having over 1k receiving, that's wild. He's also still only 29 and I think is going to end up playing at least another 5-6 years as he's going to slowly shift into being a slot WR at some point I believe and basically become what Deebo was for the 49ers for a while.
    • When the league shifted to 3 preseason games, most teams went to joint practices while playing starters less. They use that as more of a measuring stick than the games itself.  Meanwhile teams are charging people to see these games with players that won't be on the roster in a couple weeks playing most of the minutes
