Kalil visiting Dr. James Andrews

@TomPelissero: #Panthers LT Matt Kalil will be examined tomorrow by renowned orthopedist Dr. James Andrews, sources tell @RapSheet and me, as he seeks answers for a sore knee that has bothered him during camp. Andrews scoped both of Kalil’s knees in 2015.

Not looking good guys.....

Past history says that he is hurt again with chronic knee issues. The smart move would be to assume he is out of the equation and move forward to somehow fix the problem at tackle.

Whatever it may take to get a decent alternative on this roster is the only answer at this point. He is not a very good tackle and has bad wheels....time to move on.

And here we all thought Jerry Richardson’s parting “F you” to this fan base was the statue having to remain.

Richardson mandating the Kalil signing will go down in infamy for this franchise much like the Sean Gilbert trade.

Was Richardson the puppet master behind all of Gettlemans moves, or just the bad ones?

    • I had completely forgotten we had an RT named Daryl Williams when Moton got here.  That probably means he was pretty good.  Just not as good as Taylor.
    • Every year, he’s gotten off to such slow starts. I expect the same this year. Hopefully I’m wrong  I saw it mentioned that he finally has weapons lol. We know that opinion will change if he gets off to another slow start. It will all of a sudden be said that he has no weapons, or he needs to get in sync with these weapons.
    • I don't hate it for the mens tournament but why the need to expand the women's tournament? The top 16 teams already win their first game by 30+ points and teams past 9 seeds rarely ever win a game   I just looked at this year's women's tournament two 9 seeds and 1 10 seed won a game. The 10 seed was an overtime game. The 9 seeds lost in the second round by an average of 46 points to 2 one seeds. Virginia the 10 seed did manage to win surprisingly in overtime again
