Tell me we aren't done making roster moves

I don't have the absolute greatest memory of "when" we've typically signed people, but I can't remember ever really making any decent additional pick ups after preseason at all. I want to say trading for Andy Lee was a late move, but I don't even remember that and it was a trade, not a signing

The OL, and secondary issues have been a consistent theme for the last several years.

During those previous years we heard about how "cap strapped" the team was, and fans happily bought that excuse. Now that we're stuck with Matt Kalil's albatross of a contract, you guys want to throw your arms up in the air because we can't sign multiple all-pros in one offseason?

I don't see much help for OL. Maybe Colts Austin Howard who was released?

Really hope we add a CB. Losing both Cockrell and Seymour to IR is bad. A 3rd year guy, 2 " rookies" ( elder didn't play  a snap last year,) and an old guy... Doesn't seem like we're done. Need 1 more guy. Send Andre Smith to PS.

Bingo. It's funny how the same people who defended Dave for sitting on his hands are the same ones out with pitchforks now. Gettleman hurt this team with several horrendous contracts on his way out, there's not much Hurney can do right now.

    • I generally disagree with the concept of picking a position because of value early in the draft. For instance, if there's a really good safety, RB or ILB at pick 10, I'm choosing him over a project WR or DE. Better players make the team better. A bunch of ok players will give you an ok team. The number 1 goal of the draft should be to improve the overall talent on the team. Not to fill positions of need.  Deciding beforehand that you're picking a LT in the first or second round because Ickey went down is not the way to improve the team. Now if Dan has similar grades on 2 or 3 players and one happens to be a LT, then yeah go for it. But don't pass on your guy at ILB because you have a gap at LT or need to improve the pass rush with a DE. When those guys don't pan out then you haven't improved your team. But that LB could have been a franchise cornerstone for years to come. See Luke Kuechly and Christian McCaffrey.
    • Thank God we are inthe NFC South--
    • When Sanders was named as an alternate, I was all like, "That's a big ol bowl of NOPE."   In my view, they would be better off showing a documentary on the 32 "man of the year" candidates to show what they do for charities etc.
