Do you think our OL will hold up in Week 1

There so many unknowns, it's hard to know what will happen, but this article certainly seems overconfident. The premise seems to be that since 3 of our OL starters are injured, it will be easy for their DL, but our backups at LT and LG may well be better than the original starters.

One place where I think we're likely to see some struggles from Moton and Van Roten is in picking up stunts. I definitely expect the Cowboys to test them with some stunts and a few blitzes to that side. On the other hand, I think we're well equipped to counter that with extra blockers and quick passes. When we've elected to chip with a back or tight end this preseason, the results have been pretty good. And with CMC, Anderson, Samuel, and Moore, we've got 4 really good options to take a screen or quick pass and turn it into a big play. It'll be interesting to see how it plays out.

Yeah, missing "starters" doesn't necessarily mean much if those guys suck. Especially with a head coach like Rivera who has failed to make line up changes several times in the past and then had injuries prove that a better player was sitting on the bench behind his favored vet.

Never forget, Daryl Williams watched from the sideline while Von Miller beat Mike Remmers like a rented mule in SB50.

I’m concerned it’ll take our line time to gel with all the shake ups on the line and pieces getting moved around. Regular season is much different as far as what the defense throws at you. But who really knows. The Dallas front 7 is suppose to be pretty good this year. Historically Cam does better against 4-3 defenses than 3-4’s so we’ll see.

It could go either way, IMO. All it takes is one injury on the OL during the game and we are probably fuged because the depth is so suspect. If they can stay healthy and Williams really is back to 100%? Maybe they actually improve.

Either way, Cam is pretty used to running for his life at this point....
