Don't be a pessimist. We didn't just win, we dominated.

This game wasn't close. We went up 16-0 and held firm after they managed to score. We held the league's best running back to under 70 yards and made Dat Prescott look like Jimmy Clausen for most of the game. Our pass rush was relentless from all sides - ends, linebackers, tackles - against a highly touted offensive line and our corners didn't just hold up, they shut down for most of the game. Shaq looked like the real deal and finally is the linebacker we drafted him to.

This was all without Thomas Davis.

On offense we didn't explode but we did very well against one of the league's best defenses. We ran all over a top-ten rushing defense - Cam of course, but McCaffery and Anderson looked excellent as well aside from one fumble that was more a good defensive play than anything. All three averaged over 5.0 YPC if you ignore Cam's kneels. McCaffery also was excellent in the passing game and while our receivers didn't look great, they stepped up when needed - Wright and Funchess came up when we needed them too. We did this all without Curtis Samuel and Greg Olsen for most of the game. I was disappointed Moore didn't get more action, but maybe we didn't need him to

The real weak point of this game was injuries, but even that isn't entirely bad - Williams's injury wasn't as bad as we thought and while Olsen isn't known yet, we have a good safety valve in McCaffery.

Point being: this wasn't a fluke win or a bad sign. We shut down a good Cowboys team and didn't let them make a comeback. I have no idea what this season has in store but stop the complaining.

The defense yesterday was nasty all the way around.  Even the secondary was great.

I am like everyone else somewhat concerned about the offense, but it still was a dominating performance all things considered.

Holding any NFL offense under 10 points is amazing.  If we can get that kind of pressure against Matt Ryan, we will win next week as well

How bout dem boyz, ah hahaha Skip B.

I think people forget the gane did not have great weather, Cowboys Dline is pretty good, and Olsen gone is not a big of a problem as Williams.

Let us hope that DWill needs a couple games to rest and after Bye Week he will be good. Fingers crossed he left the game and was held out the rest of the game as precaution but his knee did get hit by Dirty90 which did not look good.

Oh and god damn i love CJ Anderson

With Olsen being out, I would like to see them use Armah more as a 2nd TE and have both CJ & McCaffrey in there.

Having CJ back there are then splitting CMC out depending on what the look the defense gives us provides a lot of options.

I am bummed about Olsen, but I do think we are in better shape from an offensive skill player standpoint to make up the difference from last year.  Just hope the injuries to him and D Williams aren't season ending

We dominated everything but the scoreboard.  Of course, that is the only place that really matters.  I do think we moved the ball well enough, but some errors cost us points.  A early td missed due to a fumble, a chance at four extra points due to a miscommunication, and a bad leg on  a PAT.

We can't leave that many points on the field and win next week in Atlanta.  They are going to definitely put up 20+ at home.

As much as I love TD honestly I think he's more of a liability out there at this point in his career than an asset. Let Shaq keep the majority of snaps and use TD sparingly. He's terrible in coverage and lacks the speed to the ball that he used to have.

Shaq was all over the field yesterday.  Luke had an epic performance, but Shaq was not far behind.

I love TD and definitely think he can help this team this year, but Shaq deserves to be out on the field full-time.

    • 5 straight completions in the 4th quarter to get into the red zone and then score a stand up rushing TD and celly in one of the best defenses faces to bring the score within 1 possession against the super bowl champs is "stunned" to you?
    • yes, if you read what I said - that was due to his record breaking 245 yard 4th quarter performance in garbage time when the Seahawks were already celebrating. If Bryce puts up big numbers in the 4th quarter, people like you are quick to call it garbage time stats but seem to get selective when other QB's do it because it doesn't fit your narrative.  also, I'm logical enough to admit that Drake is a great QB and his performance had a lot to do with his protection, play calling, and other aspects. The game does not fall completely on the QB. Just like how the Panthers were still in the game vs Seattle until Horn's penalty changed that. It is a team sport, so many factors, players, refs, coaches are involved and it only takes one thing to change the game. the obsession with Bryce is just nauseating at this point and if you pay attention on here, it's the same 10 users quoting and pieing each other. it's super weird and everywhere else you go, opinions on Bryce are trending upwards. the way the season ended, the vibe at the stadium, the performance, should have everyone excited about this next season. Idk, maybe I just look at life and my entertainment outlets differently than others.
    • Are we sure something hasnt happened to him because that seems pretty shitty to simply abandon this place
