I thought they were actually one of the few bright spots from yesterday considering the expectation. They gave Cam plenty of time and we seemed to be able to run the ball well enough. 

I'd also continue to find a spot for Clark; he seems like an upgrade over M. Kalil lol

Agreed... but Cam did his part also when the pocket broke down. Our 'best' receiving corp in years were the ones who let us down yesterday.

I expected a dumpster fire, but only saw a small trash can aflame. 

Honestly not as bad as I anticipated and could actually improve if given time to gel with one another... hopefully... maybe.

Yeah they did a better then expected job yesterday, sidenote has it been released on whether Darryl is done for the year or not ?

I agree, overall this patchwork quilt of guys we put together in a week did fairly well.  I did not expect much out of Clark and he did better than I would have imagined with very little time to learn the system.

Nothing official that I've heard, but footballguys.com has a doctor on staff who is saying it's "doubtful" that he returns after the IR stint.  

Ref:  Clark, it looked like they were giving him help on some plays, which is good.  He seemed to be able to force the outside speed rush just far enough behind Cam to give that extra second that a QB needs to finish his progressions and/or step up where the pocket is cleaner.  Tak McKinley got home a few times though, and the Falcons seemed to be able to confuse the left side with stunts.  I'm curious to see how they grade out on PFF this week.

It’s better but I still see the Rams, Tampa Bay even and others move the throwing platform a lot instead of standing in the same pocket/platform.

id still like to see that with Cam.

They were a pleasant surprise for sure but they were not great in the run game--McC and CJ were just dominating

Van Roten looks good and Moton looks great for a rookie. Still think we need to draft 3 or 4 offensive lineman next draft to get a talent infusion.
