Wow, I honestly didn't think this had a chance of happening. I hope he can get out there, knock the rust off and live up to his on-field reputation. If so, things are going to get mighty serious for the next game we play in Atlanta.

Ditto.

Voth mentioning the concussion history on his Twitter seemed like a deliberate media leak to get word out as to why we wouldn't sign him.

Couple that with Rivera saying we were good at safety. It's not unusual for us to say we're good at a position right before signing someone of course, but coupled with Voth's statement, it sounded pretty unlikely.

Then came Smith's comments. It now sounds more like that was a plant to the media rather than what Voth said.

RR knew this was coming. That's why we were good at safety in his opinion.

Riverboat Ron just wasn't showing his cards.

    • What people fail to understand is Lance had a college career that lasted about as long as teenage boys first intercourse.  To say he was raw was an understatement.  So much so that even a QB whisperer had a difficult time molding him into a polished NFL product on top of multiple nagging injuries.  The dud is in his mid-twenties, finally healthy and little miles on the tread.  Low risk, high reward.  If he's available, it would be stupid not to kick the tires.  It took Darnold and Mayfield to hit their 3rd or 4th team for things to finally click.  This is Lance's 3rd stop, I believe.  It's either time for it to click for him or be relegated to a full time backup. Roll the dice....
    • Wrong.  At least we put a QB sneak in the play book and and add plays over 20 yards.
    • I don’t know if people realize that Evan’s was one of the top TE prospects in college  before having some horrible injuries. I wanna say he had two major injuries in back to back seasons which limited his play and dropped his draft stock.
