We would have to give up the picks we need to fix the pass rush to get Peterson. Jackson and Bradberry have been very good and they don’t cost $11M/year.

But you want to trade our 1st rounder (and our current #1 CB) to get Peterson.

Next year's draft looks like one of the best DL drafts in recent memory. I certainly wouldn't part with our 1st rounder (and our 25 year old #1 CB on his rookie contract) for an elite 28 year old CB on a big money deal. Nope. I'm hanging onto that pick and probably taking the best DL available. Maybe doing that in the 1st and 2nd.

Some do. Some don't. Depends on the coach. Of the ones that do though, they generally don't do it immediately.

Basically, if you fire a head coach after one year, you're buying lottery tickets.

Heard him say that as well. Washington Has a long way to go before he is gonna be anywhere near to even interviewing for a HC job. This is the worst D I’ve seen the panthers put on the field in a many years.

If they're gonna stick with Wilks and Rosen they might as well trade Peterson. He'll be passed his prime before they'll be able to compete and Wilks is still playing a lot of zone so why pay an elite man cover corner?

Not sayin' there isn't logic to it but Bidwill isn't exactly one of the league's better owners. He probably wouldn't want to piss off the fans, even if it makes sense.

From our perspective though, we run just as much zone as the Cardinals, so...
