A foot and a hand

Are the difference between 4-2 and 2-4.

FOOT: Gano's 63 yarder vs. the Giants was as close to a miracle as this franchise has ever seen (Some might argue Foster's one yard run on the same field back in 2003 or the X-Clown TD in overtime, but this is more remarkable than either by far).  He joined an elite list of players (not sure Dempsey should be included due to his wedge foot/shoe) to become one of 6 kickers to ever kick a field goal of 63 yards or more (Prater has a 64 yarder, the record).  6 kicks in NFL history made it through the uprights.  https://www.profootballhof.com/news/long-field-goals/

HAND:  On the final play of the game, most people think Julius Peppers made the play, but that distinction goes to Kyle Love.  Peppers may have dislodged the ball, but the arm was initially hit by Love's extended right hand.  Wentz admitted that he was upset because Jefferies broke open toward the goal posts when Eric Reid came forward to take an underneath WR.  However, when his arm was hit and the ball then dislodged, he knew the opportunity to win the game for the Eaglets vanished.  In the photo below, you see Love (93, to the left in white) and Peppers (90, to the right).  Love's right hand is striking the arm of Wentz---Peppers would then dislodge the ball, but by then, the opportunity to throw the TD was gone.

Just thought I would share.

So talented players doing their jobs wins football games. Thanks for sharing!

I can also share a fact that you illustrate:  People behind fake names with a computer and free McDonald's internet (it must be your break) can be peckerholes.

ah, so this is a fact?

If this post is being positive, then I apologize for my sarcasm. However, if you are being negative, then I stick to what I said.

Too use to negativity on this board.

Two eyes, two ears, a chin, a mouth, ten fingers, two nipples, a butt, two kneecaps, a penis.  I have just described to you the Loch Ness monster, and the reward for its capture - all the riches in Scotland.  So I have one question...why are you here?

It was to celebrate those who stepped up and won games when a loss was nearly certain.  That does not equate to watching people do their jobs.  Besides, anyone can post thoughts on here without your approval.  Your sarcasm reflects a lack of awareness, not any degree of analytical acumen.  It is a game of inches, and these two games proved that--just a moment to reflect on how frail the line in the NFL between loss and defeat and how grateful we should be---you interpreted that as a negative, not me.  Without Love/Peppers and Gano going above and beyond their jobs by stepping up when it matters most, we would be analyzing the 2019 draft today.

If I wanted to watch people do their jobs I would watch road construction crews or Japanese restaurant chefs.

    • You’re playing madden we’re talking real football stuff…. He does have you seen his special on internet he def thinks he’s getting paid
    • Without the team having an identity kinda hard to predict what they value.  They either are really trying to build a balanced team, or preparing for another swing at qb if Bryce doesn’t pan out. Seems like we value the o line but the $ spent there has been underwhelming besides Lewis, you could say it’s because of injuries but still hasn’t been worth the investment. as already stated, the whole handling of Bryce young as a whole has been ass backwards, we spent the years we’re supposed to take advantage of having a qb with a lower cap hit, building the team up to be adequate. now It appears, key word appears, the saints have done it correctly, which is painful to even think about. Regardless, I hope the front office has paid attention to qb contracts recently, such as Tua, Kyler, Daniel jones(pre colts) and don’t settle for subpar qb play at franchise qb rates
    • This is the flaw in your logic.  Cutting 3 of our best players will somehow move us from whatever we are to "compete". Even the most Young super fans are not predicting a ceiling above top 10-12, and that will not nearly cut it.  Someone will need to break the log jam of QBs getting nothing or North of 50. Our qb is at best a middle ground, lets hope it will be us that also manage to pay the worth at about 100 over 3 years.  And before you jump me, yes that is only of he improves.
