NFL fires a field judge in the middle of the season

That seriously might have been the worst call(or no-call really) I've ever seen. That lineman jumped a good second early.

Are those refs from the Saints #2 game still around?

Eith all the terrible refs in the league, you gotta think there's something more to this than just poor calls if this the first time this has happened in the SB era. Gotta wonder if he was getting bought off by gambling interests or something along those lines.

The guy’s last games was officiating the Rams. Aka, the team the NFL desperately needs to win the SB.

This will be overturned unless there was a off the field incident.  The nflra will file a grievance. They have a CBA which stipulates a points system and tier system for officials.  Firing for one terrible call or even a couple  isnt a fireable offense.

They already have artificial intelligence officiating... Very Artificial!

This could be what is to come and is a lesson for all refs and officiating crews that if they constantly make errors on the calls whether they are phantom calls or missed critical game calls that effect the outcome of the game.

Seems like there are 2-3 questionable calls or non-calls in about every game...thursday night game was a farce officiating wise... can't get the sht right with video...gimee a break.
