Why do you still support Ron?

They don’t. They either are too concerned with being right or they are giving him too much credit thinking we’ll be a bad again without Rivera.

We haven’t seen Cam and Rivera apart yet, but at this point I’m willing to gamble Cam has been a bigger factor to our success then Rivera.

My only Beef with Ron is his Loyalty

He isnt going to bench a vet no matter how bad he struggles and put in a younger guy with more talent.  It takes a injury to force his hand

You saw this with Amini-Norwell

Smith-Moore

Funchess is never going to be benched as long as he's here

His coaches he is going to stay true to "his guys" no matter what.  It pretty much was forced for him to get rid of Shula.  Fans raising money to fly banners crucifying him.  Lretty much came down to having to tell him if you dont fire him, your fired with him.

I really, really, really hate to make decisions made on spur of the moment emotional responses, and I have always hesitated to jump on bandwagons, but sign me up for the fire Ron bandwagon today. Ron, from what I’ve seen is absolutely one of the nicest guys you’ll ever meet. Someone whose honest, full of integrity. But he is IMHO never going to lead us to a SB victory. Sorry Ron but you got to go.

    • No one way to do it, it does appear that with the bigger draft picks of the last 5 years…..majority haven’t steered clear of young QBs on the roster being their hopeful guy. Especially past their rookie seasons but even some the biggest ones have had it early.   As far as Andy Dalton, the two young guys he has “mentored”…..have had very rough NFL starts.  Which really ask the why the heck is Dalton here.   He doesn’t really check any box.  No young potential.  Can’t step in and win.  And his mentor track record with Fields and now Bryce is bad
    • I had thought the Panthers might let him play out his contract this year and hope he stays healthy. If not draft a left tackle and move Ekwonu to right tackle.
    • Frankly, if most teams in the NFL lose their starting QB for a significant amount of time, they're screwed. The fantasy is that one has a future Tony Romo or a Nick Foles that can carry a stacked team. The reality is that you might get roughly 3~5 games out of your backup before it all falls apart. Remember all of Peyton Manning's backups? Utterly terrible. Speaking of backup QB's, Raiders may need one. https://www.nfl.com/news/raiders-qb-aidan-o-connell-suffered-fractured-wrist-in-preseason-finale-expected-to-be-out-6-8-weeks
