If Hurney didn't (and wasn't) going to be replaced it would be fair to give him one more year, especially since it's not like the team completely flamed out at 3-13 or something.  But a new GM is going to want to put his own staff in place, so you might as well do it the same time Hurney's firing is announced, which will be after the season.

Rivera has never been shy to wait on throwing his players under the bus after losses over the years. Especially recently. Why should we be concerned with hurt feelings now? Especially when it's clear the team isn't buying in anymore.

It's easy to say the team isn't buying in after a four game skid, but the losses, save for the first one, have been close.

Not too many teams are going to win when the QB is throwing picks. That's the difference in today's game (not to mention a questionable PI call).

End of season.

We fire Rivera now we run the risk of Norv walking too, and that's just not good news for our offense this year and moving forward.

A clean slate is clean. Not worried about Norv Turner. There is certainly some offensive mind out there who will bring plenty of fresh ideas.

I picked end of season but now or end of season really makes zero difference, as long as Tep is prepping to hire new GM and coach now.  Rivera has had some great moments and seasons for us so I'll give him the benefit of lasting the season. But would be happy to wake up tomorrow to see him fired as well. Either way, absolutely time to move on.

There really is no one to replace Ron, Turner is old and might not want to take the job from his friend. Turner the younger is too young/inexperienced and his QB just through four interceptions.

Anyone want Washington as HC?  He's the one to fire Monday.

Olson's off for the rest of season, how about him for interim HC?  It isn't as if firing Ron now is going to change anything, be nice and at the end of the season he and Marty can be shown the door without unnecessary embarrassment.
