Beason on Rivera

One thing I've learned about this failed season based on Ron's post game comments...

As Head Coach, none of it is his fault.

I don't believe for a second that any ex player knows what is going to happen to RR or anyone for that matter once the season is over.  I honestly think Tepper will sit down with a bunch of brilliant people and analyze the whole organization from top to bottom and keep who he and his group of geniuses think give the Panthers the best chance to win.  

So refreshing from the JR days . . . .

I suspect the current Panthers staff have been under constant evaluation by Tepper and his associates from the moment he entertained the idea of purchasing the franchise. 

I'd be very surprised if Tepper hasn't already compiled a short list of candidates to target for the jobs of Panthers Head Coach and General Manager.

He talks about their being "holes in the roster" that they need to fix.

Beason also mentioned that he's been in a leader's position before, and that as a leader his first action after a loss was always to take the blame on himself, something Rivera doesn't seem to be doing.

So do you disagree with Beason as well?

I have met Beason, and he is a natural leader in every aspect of the word.  I have met Rivera, and I did not get that impression.  FWIW--I teach in a leadership program in a graduate school at a state university.  I usually know a leader when I interact with one.

Would not mind Beason being hired in some capacity.  Dude is a natural leader.

As I've said, he's been wiping the floor with Rivera's limp unresponsive body the last couple years. I've been waiting for Ron/ The Panthers to wake up for NO/division games. The Aints and Falcants are highly motivated to play us no matter their/our record is.

As coach I'm not going to play an injured player. He can join Greg. To bad a Snickers won't make Cam Cam again. Only rest and time, rest and time.

I truly hope Ron can turn it around but if Tepper does make a move Scott Turner shouldn't leave the building without an offer. In house solution and continuity. He's a younger offense minded coach that coach who could continue this offense.

does anyone really believe that they will bring in yet another OC for Newton

is it time to move from the Air Coryell  offense 

is it time to move on from newton

if we are discussing wholesale coaching changes it is a lot more than just the GM and HC 

it is the philosophy of both offense and defense and the players needed to perform it and if Iis something Newton can’t do, then what   It is also probable scouting changes 

im sick of Rivera and 3 winning seasons in 8 but I’m not sure who leads this transition if it comes to pass

Cam Newton isn't going anywhere as far as Tepper is concerned. He really seems to love him some Cam. Steelers changed coaches kept Big Been. Cam's gonna get his. A healthy Cam is MVP level and a dual threat.

Coming from the Steelers organization I don't see wholesale change. It would be very Steeler-like to release a coach and promote a guy on staff already.

Am I the only one that finds it laughable that Beason didn't know what he was talking about when it came to Gettleman, but now he is a sage pertaining to Rivera? Hypocrites will be hypocrites.
