Rivera Tuesday presser

I remember being a younger, naive chap....storming back to the car after some of the bad John Fox losses, eagerly turning on the post game show to hear that bastard explain himself, and always wanting to reach through the radio and choke his fat neck.

Then, I grew up.

I have taught school, I have led a school, I coached in high school, I played in college---and I now teach educational leadership in a master's degree and doctoral program after earning a doctorate in education.  I can tell you one thing--teaching and learning is a dynamic that does not change-the variables do.  It is the same thing--good teachers motivate change in behaviors that lead to cognitive development by understanding the learner and building a bridge toward desired outcomes. That is not different.  Thanks for the tip though.

You're credentials really dont mean anything in regards to this as impressive as they are. It's more like employment. Let's say you're in sales and you've always had success using a certain process. All of a sudden you have a new sales manager telling you to do it a different way. Theres gonna be resistance to it. It's sort of like when Ken Dorsey was our QB coach. You honestly think Cam is gonna quit doing what hes been doing because Ken Dorsey says to do it differently.

Nah. His credentials mean his point is way over your head, because you didn't get the gist of it.

P.S. You're = You Are

Maybe you meant to say YOUR?

What’s he supposed to say?

i suck as a coach and we suck as a team?...both may be true, but he’s not gonna say that

we do still have a chance...not a very good one...but we are still in it

No, he's supposed to say, "the guys weren't prepared enough for this game.. that's on me and the coaching staff." Or "We didn't have a plan that put our guys in the best position to win." "We didn't manage the game as well as we should have." "We didn't do a good job of adjusting to fit what we do well or away from what wasn't working."  "The guys weren't focused or motivated enough to get the job done, and that's in me."

I could go on and on and all of it would have been true and appropriate.

Of course at some point it would highlight an inadequacy in the coaching department, but it would also force him to own what he is doing wrong, could do better, and bring about needed changes in philosophy and decision making earlier.

It also would have created greater loyalty and effort from his players.

hmm........so Ron says the final interception in the game that the ball just sailed on Cam?

If you watch that play you can see both Cam and receiver look at each other and verbally wonder why the route wasn't executed correctly as if one is blaming the other...........it looked like a timing pass to me where either Cam threw to the wrong spot......or it was the right spot and the receiver cut to the wrong spot on the field ........as a result an easy interception..........surely the media saw this and so did Ron.

The ball just sailed?

Christ..........

I thought he was referring to the missed TD pass to Wright.
