Mike Tomlin perhaps?

Ron hasn’t done a good enough job since Super Bowl 50.

36 months is a long time. And while I appreciate 2017, we still were average in the conference and division. Sweeping the AFC East is great, but our closest common opponents have us figured out.

Tomlin has won a Super Bowl, been to a pair, various playoff berths and has kept that defense fairly elite with a great deal of turnover.

Tomlin and Rivera are two of only five coach’s who have been to the playoffs at least four out of the last five years but teams like Carolina (under new ownership) and Pittsburgh seem to be more inclined to find the next shiny toy rather than hold on to their current head coaches.

I can see both teams going the college route and a team like Cleveland looking to go with a retread.

This isn't proof that he wanted him fired. This is Mike Florio we are talking about. And he basically named most of the major minority owners, if not all of them lol. Not only did nothing come of this but there was no follow up reporting on this after by anyone other than Florio to confirm that this information was legit.

    • When we have everyone playing like they should, we can win the Cup. That has been the biggest problem when we get to the playoffs, but this year seems to be fixed mostly. We could have had multiple if we had done this in the past.
    • Here we go Bryce Stan’s you should love this. Hell it may be one of you.  It has every cliche excuse and then some.  Unintentionally hilarious my limit was reached when he said Bryce had it hard because four play callers.
    • Luke goes in to the specifics of what he looked to accomplish in joint practices.  Basically they may work with someone on the opposing team to stress something they feel is a weakness in their own game in a different way that can be done with someone they are familiar with. That they can have predetermined stresses but since neither wants to get injured and it has absolutely no bearing on anything there is not the level of concern that would be in a preseason game.  He would also even chat with opposing OC.   It seems like an interesting nuance among the vets and savy pros.
