Panthers negotiating extension with Reid

Per Panthers Twitter. Seems to indicate that Hurney is likely safe. Also lends credence to the fact that Rivera is too, as Hurney generally signs/ draft players that the head coach wants.

I don't see anything on the Panthers official Twitter about it. It'd be pretty out of the ordinary for the team to tweet something about contract discussions anyway.

He deserves fair pay, but I do hope he gives us some sort of discount since we went out and signed him while the league blackballed him.  My selfishness comes from just wanting more cap room to sign a better team so we can win more though and I cant argue with him playing hard ball.
