What if I told you our losing streak had nothing to do with Cam's shoulder?

You’d be wrong. Cam’s shoulder problems directly impacted his throwing power and accuracy, both of which contributed to our constant failures. No quarterback is productive when playing injured and getting hit.

We should draft Will Grier and trade Cam for a high 1st and 2nd round pick. Patch up our trenches. Sign Tevin Coleman as our backup RB . Sign a pass rusher with all of the extra cap. And then when a Super Bowl. Best way to win is with a qb on rookie contract. Cam has taken too much damage. We had our chance 3 years ago

Not that the Panthers are even entertaining this idea, however...

Is there any GM out there that would be foolish enough to put their job on the line and offer two high draft picks when Cam's health issues are still up in the air?

I doubt it.

It's simple we win when we rush for over 100 yards in a game. Sit Cam until he's better and run the damn ball. Heinike is alright for next season, he can do just enough with a strong run game to win until Cam gets back.

Heinike might be alright if we somehow get ace protection from a much improved O-line. Then again, he might not be alright at all. It's too small of a sample size and too big of an unnecessary risk to take when we really don't have to.
