Moton LT of 2019? Not so fast...

For those of you wondering about Moton in 2019, did you wonder why he was not playing some LT yesterday?

That makes me wonder about Williams and a new contract.  Or the condition of his  knee.

We were one OT whiff away from CMC taking snaps.

Options?  Moton to LG,  Moton to RT without signing Williams,  Moton to left tackle even though we kept him on  the right side this season while the LT position sucked.

Since RR is the coach, who knows?   Does he think that far  ahead?

yeah man, long, ideal LT frame? Blazing quick 1st step? Proven talent?

Let's move this player to OG.

He was a better G in college than T.  He has not consistently shown the attributes you have associate with him...If your LT sucks and you have the LT of the future at RT---what would you do?

Exactly on point about LT...the obvious choice is going after a good LT...which has been the obvious choice since Gross left...

Yeah

Haha some people on here

Dude handled Dallas's Lawerence better than most LTs in the league.

But want to draft a guy like Little who scots says has the tools but is a project, and got beat pretty bad by some college pass rushers this year

Only Huddler would want to replace a guy who handled a probowl DE at LT and was solid in his other showings there.

To draft a project who gets beat by college pass rushers.

Moton to LT and Williams to RT seems like the logical move. (yes even to Hurney)

Rivera said he was going to takee a look  at players this week.  Why not let your future LT play LT?

Is he  still  thinking Kalil  is  the man ?

No. Matt's contract allows them to move on if he's post June 1. I would very much think this is what they're going to do.

How does someone not consistently show the attributes I listed? lol.

This entire thread feels like setup for "there's this OT I want the panthers to draft in the 1st round and they should pass on bigger needs and two strong OT talents to do it."

    • You’re playing madden we’re talking real football stuff…. He does have you seen his special on internet he def thinks he’s getting paid
    • Without the team having an identity kinda hard to predict what they value.  They either are really trying to build a balanced team, or preparing for another swing at qb if Bryce doesn’t pan out. Seems like we value the o line but the $ spent there has been underwhelming besides Lewis, you could say it’s because of injuries but still hasn’t been worth the investment. as already stated, the whole handling of Bryce young as a whole has been ass backwards, we spent the years we’re supposed to take advantage of having a qb with a lower cap hit, building the team up to be adequate. now It appears, key word appears, the saints have done it correctly, which is painful to even think about. Regardless, I hope the front office has paid attention to qb contracts recently, such as Tua, Kyler, Daniel jones(pre colts) and don’t settle for subpar qb play at franchise qb rates
    • This is the flaw in your logic.  Cutting 3 of our best players will somehow move us from whatever we are to "compete". Even the most Young super fans are not predicting a ceiling above top 10-12, and that will not nearly cut it.  Someone will need to break the log jam of QBs getting nothing or North of 50. Our qb is at best a middle ground, lets hope it will be us that also manage to pay the worth at about 100 over 3 years.  And before you jump me, yes that is only of he improves.
