Olsen hasn't played a full season of football since 2016.

I'm not convinced he still can.

With that said, Ian Thomas looks ready and I hope Greg decides to hang up the cleats and kick off his full-time media career.

Greg has been a key member of the Panthers offense for many years and I look forward to seeing him on TV, but he should seriously consider retiring from football before next season.

Back in the late 2000s, I remember watching players that we'd grown accustomed to seeing on the Panthers every year slowly fade away and/or be ushered out.

I have to admit I'm starting to get a lot of the same feelings.

I wouldn't be surprised to see a major turnover of key personnel on and off the field during the next two seasons.

I don't doubt that he'll do what's best for him.

However, given that it's been three years since he was able to play a full season, I'm not sure putting ourselves in a position of depending on him again is necessarily what's best for us.

Absolutely.

 

We are witnessing the last gasp of breath of an era. Only question is how much they have left in the tank. Hopefully last season is not an indicator

Interesting that folks are ready to move on from Olsen because he had injury problems and hasn't been healthy for 16 games since 2016.

Yet Cam has only played 16 games in 2 of the past 5 seasons. Ya'll ready to move on from him too?
