If you have to hand hold you head coach this much, should he really be your head coach?

I'm going to miss Thomas Davis. I got to meet him at a meet and greet in North Charleston and it was a great experience. Best of luck to him in the future.

This also.

Had my phone off for a bit last night, but the Thomas Davis news was terribly sad. TD literally gave almost his entire body for the franchise. But it was also terribly necessary, if the Panthers are going to be the kind of team everybody says they want them to be.

I wish he would have just recognized it was about time to hang it up like Kalil, and retired. What else can a player prove? Hes already in the court of kings in terms of current or past players. Surely money can't be a factor after this many years. Beautiful wife and family at home. I just can't imagine a reason to move on to another team after this many years as a Panther only to play perhaps one or two more years and do that much more damage to the body, or have just that much more chance of yet another injury.

I'd imagine it would only be to chase a Lonbardi.

That is why players play.

    • i presented this in another thread. he throws better to the out breaking routes the wr run, but almost nothing to the inside. that is half the options on a wr route tree. How do you run an offense like that?  even the outbreaking routes he throws are moonballs, that allow the DBs to catch up unless the wr is wide open. he has to throw with a lot of anticipation becuase he doesnt have the arm strenght to get it there if he is a little late. thats probably why you see balls behind the wrs.
