Where do you NOT want to see Thomas Davis go?

I don't care whom he plays for. The man has. A right to play for anybody that is willing to sign him.

Sure are a lot of people crying about the strong possibility that ye stays in the division. I thought he was washed up.  Lmao!

Has more to do with still wanting to be able to root for him to be successful. If he's on a division rival that plays us twice a year, we obviously would like for him to be garbage. I don't want those conflicting emotions.

LMAO!!!!!1!!!11

I'm not going to be wringing my hands about it no matter where he goes.  He wants to go somewhere else and play, so be it.  Davis was a great Panther and I'll always have fond memories, but his time here is over.  The only part of it I'm kind of curious about is to see how much other teams offer him for a year.

I'm all right with the routing for his success on a division-rival  when we don't play them. I will always always be a fan of Thomas Davis no matter where he goes.

I don't see a ton of interest for a 35 year old linebacker, it makes way too much sense to draft, or bring in a younger free agent.

Even if you think you're a player away 35 is only relevant at the QB position on the guys that play at the highest level. I think it will be quiet for TD at least through camp for teams.

And I don't think PIT makes any sense considering they run a base 3-4.

I'd like to see him go play for a contender and get a ring. Pats, or even though it's against everything I believe in, the Taints, so he can get a SB ring.

I'd hate to see him play for any team that has no shot at the SB.

I agree more with panthers55 on this.

Unless Brees keep playing, the Saints are going to suck for years. They won't be contenders.

If the Taints win it this year, I could see Brees retiring. Sucking for years might be a stretch though.  The team around Brees might be one of his best supporting cast he has had.  Oddly for the Saints, there were several games this season the Saints won because of defensive play and not offensive play. Losing Brees would hurt and remove them as a contender.  But they could be realistically drafting a good QB away from being a pain in the butt.  The NFL is definitely designed these days to be offense friendly compared to rebuilding a decade ago when a elite QB retired.

He’s going to sign with the Saints or Falcons. I’d bet on it.
