Cam's Shoulder Might've Started Having Issues Since The Giants.

So this is a quick thread, but I saw something on twitter that made me remember a report about Cam's shoulder potentially having issues since the Giants.

FWIW, Danny has sources, and this is what he said in December:

As far as verifiable evidence of potentially affecting Cam's shoulder, here's what Danny said:

EDIT: The clip I posted and just deleted was from 2015. So that was not the cause.

The run down the sideline was.

I was at that game. I've been to a panthers game each year since I moved to the Charlotte area.

By the end of the game his arm looked as bad as it did at the end of 2016. There was no zip on any of his throws. I mentioned something about it after the Giants game but people called me crazy/paranoid/hater/racist.

I was there as well and remember him getting up slow after the play mentioned in the thread. I didn’t even think about that play causing it. We were up what, 17-3 or something and our O couldn’t get moving, bc like you said, Cam no longer had zip.

Would like to hear the "Cam only takes hits in the pocket" crowd respond to this.

So you're looking for the opinions of the strawmen?

Because you'll have to bring me evidence that there were people outside of those evil strawmen that you remember that EVER said that the only place Cam ever took a hit was in the pocket.

Dis gon be gud.

I wasn't sold on it being 100 percent the Watt hit. It even seemed before that... just from a throwing point of view. Like in baseball after practicing and throwing 5 days in a row and throwing 100 plus times your shoulder starts dropping and feeling numb like you're just launching and the release looks like its going one place and its going another. But it is what you're aiming for. Thats just what I've seen from over thrown arms in baseball and thats what it exactly looked like to me for Cam the release looked so tired and each throw was emptying the tank every time.

Either way it is a shoulder issue and probably honestly a big part technique and form of his throwing.

Im sure its painful and confusing with so many medical doctors thinking they can figure it out and misdiagnoses is a huge issue. If we can be real without being offended a lot of money is on the line for a sports therapist or doctors office for Cam. Egos are there in the medical world as well. Everyone wants to tell you what happened to you and what the pain your feeling is. Which can be super sketchy diagnosing a individual sports injury. Its easy if Cam got tackled and broke his collarbone. A shoulder, a foot is not easy to put a plan on.

a positive is he has time to get more than one opinion and think about it

    • And remind y’all that Rico Dowdle ran the ball 7 times on Monday.
    • I didn't want to pay him and they should have traded him before the 20+ million in dead cap. I feel this is another "blame tepper", he wanted a QB and Panthers only had 4 draft picks. CMC got a bad health report and missed games, but league still valued him and he was the best player on the team. Shitttttterererererererer traded him for 4 future picks, the future 2nd ended up being 61st........so all the other draft picks in 5th 4th were next to last, just a mistake. Yes 49ers at the time looked cook, but CMC helped them reach the SB. Used that 2nd and 3rd in the BY and DJ Johnson trades.....just awful returns. It was dirty to wilks to trade CMC while he was trying to make the playoffs, best I member the run game got better after the trade....   Im just one of those "never pay RB, safety, or MLBs" unless cheap/all world. CMC is not all world, but he's dang close.  Poorly handle, he bought a big home and thought he'd remain a career panther....Herniay made him the 16 million man, tops by 4 full million and no RB passed that mark for 2 years, God dam fug you herniay.  Im anti-RB, but about the last thing they should have done was trade a 1000 1000 threat that wanted to stay here, just total fumble by the Panthers/tepper/herniay/fittterererererererere per normal for this time-line.
