This whole 28-3 is funny and all, but why aren't we more concerned with our own lack of sustained success than we are with what happened to Atlanta?

Everyone:  "The Panthers lost 7 games in a row, won one game that didn't matter and shouldn't have won and missed the playoffs."

Us:  "Yeah, but did you see the Falcons blow a 28-3 lead in the Super Bowl two years ago?"

but we have a MVP qb from 4 years ago and a TE that had 3 1k yards 5 years ago, don't forget about smittys triple crown a decade ago, Hardy had a beast year like 7 years ago, member that? how about 7-9 playoff team?

It's all Panther fans have and it's sad. I'd take a blown 3-28 lead in the superbowl over every season we've had except 2 in 20+ years.

It's fun to pick at them because they're rivals and all but besides the Buccs we have been the bottom feeders of the NFC for 10 years who if by glorious luck somehow make it to the playoffs, have shown they don't deserve to be there except in 2015.

Man some of ya'll are some Debbies for real, can't even have a little fun in a non-team related thread, go be serious in an applicable thread damn.

Ever see a Browns, Bills, Titans, Raiders, Jag, recent Bucc fan talk poo?

Didn't think so.

Panthers fans act like this team is more than mediocre year after year and it breeds complacency.

It makes people feel better about their own team. It’s like going to a bar and getting hammered, hoping to forget that you found your GF in the sack with someone else... but the next morning you still remember.

    • Ravens mixing it up with a random Mark Andrew tush push last year isn't a similar situation.  Lamar has run QB sneaks his entire career.  And often instead of a traditional sneak will even employ a 4th and 1 direct snap to Lamar simply because of how athletic he is (which even Cam did a lot of) and let him pick his own holes.
    • height being an issue doesn't just mean batted balls.  You could argue Bryce minimizes batted balls by adopting other poor habits such as his jump passing and leaving the pocket.   As I said, there are plays you can point to where he clearly was blind to parts of the field/players....which kills plays and opportunity. Which actually means some of the shorter/hot throws when things break down are where his vision gets blocked (and he had below average production all around the line of scrimmage).   has he figured it out? I mean, he improved off a trainwreck start.  But Bryce Young since arriving in the league (even while figuring it out)......doesn't generate much offensive production vs his peers.  I just think his ceiling is low.   And that's not in the grand scheme what you want in the NFL.  I think he can develop into a serviceable QB, that will largely always been a middle of the pack or low end starter.
    • People make a lot of noise about his footwork and I think it is overblown. Whether he takes 3 steps backwards or 5 small steps doesn't matter as long as he ends up at the right depth and is in sync with  the receiver regarding timing. If he does that consistently who cares as long as he has a firm stable base as he delivers the ball. Which he does need to work on. However even that is somewhat overblown given that often QBs have to throw off balance or from different arm angles to fit the ball around defenders. He is considered very accurate so apparently it isn't hurting him that much.
