Well, I don't like seeing that. We'd probably have to offer significantly more $$$. I'm as homer as it gets with the Panthers, but there's no arguing that we offer a better situation right now than the Pats or Chiefs.

Could be a depth guy, I hope we plan on trading up for Montez Sweat. These vet DE's are solid, but we need a young beast who can get after the QB. Trade our extra 3rd round pick and move up for Sweat please!

If we sign him it tells me we are going full 3-4 and not a hybrid.  This will be interesting how this defense shakes out this year.

So yea, the value of our extra third allows us to move up 1 slot, ie, it's worthless.  Trading our second this year might get us into the top 10, but we shouldn't be trading a 2 away.

It u can get a starter on offensive and defensive side. Hell yeah I would do it in a heartbeat.
