I guess. it wasn't just the injury, though. the guy just lost it. I don't know what happened, but once he got hurt there was no drive anymore. the problem I have, though, was the long term effect. it was a serious domino effect that hurney started when he traded back into the first to get him and he spent the next few years trying to compensate. as good as he was or could have been, I don't think it was worth the long term effect it had on the team.

But how could you predict that?  If you trade up for a player, he lives up to the billing, then he just loses it?  He could have not traded anything and that could happen.  Everette Brown?  legitimate I guess, but everything is really a strongly informed guess at the heart of it.  But Otah...nah.  Everyone here was fricking ecstatic about his early play.

Stanley McClover was partly responsible for one of the greatest Auburn wins in Iron Bowl history back in 2005.  Bama was 9-1 coming into the game and Auburn was 8-2.

The Auburn defense sacked the Bama QB (Brodie Croyle at the time) 11 times.
