He's the first person I've seen that gave us a grade that low.

I hope Burns (and defensive coaching staff), Little, and Grier hear/see these comments and prove this guy wrong. You have to be self motivated to have success at the NFL level, but it doesn't hurt to have a little chip on the shoulder to push you to greater success. He pretty much insulted everyone I just mentioned earlier.

I would have loved to have a strong prospect at FS picked in the early rounds. Outside of that, I can't gripe too much. And, we can still pick one up on FA market. The other weak areas (pass rush, OLine depth/Possible starter at  LT, and a solid backup for Cam) were at least addressed. We don't know things will pan out but I don't see how anyone could grade us below a C...and even that's too low in my opinion.

I doubt any of them give a flying f*ck about Todd McShay and whatever garbage he is spouting out

Incredibly odd to me that McShay had Little rated as the 8th best overall player in the draft in December, but now views him as a horrible selection...  I'd love to know what happened between the time college games ended and now to build this fire of hate against the kid...  This way, no matter what the kid does in the pros, McShay (and Kiper too) can claim they had it right all along...  Welcome to click-bait journalism, Todd...

8. Greg Little, OT, Ole Miss*

Grade: 92 | Height: 6-6 | Weight: 325 | Previous: 8

The onetime top high school offensive tackle in the nation, Little has carried it over into SEC play. A smooth mover for his size, he can be outstanding in pass protection if he gets a little better with his hands. He has good quickness as a run-blocker and takes smart angles, though he's not a mauler.

But now as of this weekend, also has his grade as a 75, and not a 92 as he did during the college season...

Grades change as evaluators get more tape. Also had drew lock the best of the bunch coming in but... overtime things change don’t think he specifically targeted us.

I do worry about the Grier pick and the Finley comparison. The rest is just noise to me like so much stuff that emanates from ESPN.

Finley is a lot more NFL ready than Grier(although they both share the characteristic of being terrible under pressure) but IMO, they are both very clearly NFL 2nd or 3rd string QB's. Finley just strikes me as a guy that can solidify a spot as a #2 QB and potentially manage a game in case of an injury. Grier is really more of a #3 roster QB, to me. He has some definitive physical limitations and some bad habits. If he can clean all that up, however, maybe he gives us the stability at our backup QB that we haven't had since DA left.

Personally, I just hope Kyle Allen develops more. IMO, he has a higher ceiling than Grier.

NFL.com gave the team an A-

PFF liked the draft and scored it excellent.

CBS sports gave the draft a B+

Sporting news gave the draft a B+

USA today gave the draft a B-

Bleacher Report gave the draft a C+

Walter football gave the draft a C

(They hated the trade up and selection of Little, Grier and Scarlett picks)

That's most of the ones I know of.

If I hadn’t watched the combine then I’d probably be OK. He stood out to me in a bad way. As weird as it sounds, I hope he wasn’t prepared or maybe wasn’t trying too hard and it wasn’t that he’s not as agile as people think when talking about a true LT.

Also, his stock absolutely was dropping through the process. He was a top tackle to start and slowly moved down a lot of boards. The places that value the colleg play (like PFF) still had him ranked high.

Yeah, I did not see the combine, but I did see some tape on him (not just highlight reels) when it became obvious that the panthers were seriously courting him. He had a lot of write ups, and was still one of the top LT's in this draft, even with the dropping. I just hope that Matsko and company did their homework and got it right.
