Yah, I think haynes is one to watch out for this year. I think he will surprise some people. It's almost like he was drafted last year with the intention of the switch.

Yeah, Haynes was unquestionably a bad pick last year based on the scheme we were running. That pick could look very good depending on where he ends up in the rotation. It's funny to think that we had a serious issue with pass rushers just this past season and yet now we could end up with a lot of them.

Trying not to get too far ahead of myself though. Outside of Addison and Irvin, we still have very few PROVEN pass rushers. And Addison has not played as a 3-4 EDGE to my knowledge.

Rivera is clearly trying to channel the 2013 defense that had a potent pass rush that covered up a porous secondary. That secondary got exposed in the playoffs though so we'll see

Cox Jr. and Obada are our on 4-3 ends right now, correct?   I mean the team could line a LB over the OT in a 4-tech with a hand in the dirt, but that generally won't bode well for the defender.

I think we’ll be ok with James on his contract year and Jackson on his 2nd year. Safety and slot will be an issue though (as everyone knows).

Wait, weren't we at 90?  Someone has to go.  Obviously a camp body, but it sucks for that guy to though OTAs only to get kicked to the curb.

Nah. For training camp one of the TE’s may go.  Or one of the 50 OG’s on the roster right now.

 At final cuts I could see your statement being true.

With a year in the league he may be ahead of Miller at this point.  Training camp will beat that out.

The we are rolling a LB or DT to the 4-tech in even fronts?  I figured those two were safe because they are the only 4-3 ends left on the roster.  Addison is slimming down to LB weight supposedly.
