Donte Jackson with an acrobatic pass breakup on a deep Allen throw, and then let the Dortmund guys know in the celebration  McCaffrey pulled a nice catch with Kuechly in covg that got Cam yelling - as did a long end zone catch by Samuel, who is showing his speed today.

That new throwing motion should allow for more arc and less straight line, frozen rope throws. With the size of our two primary receivers, he's going to have to be able to put some arc on the ball to get it up and over the DB; It may also allow him to get more depth on his throws without as much shoulder strain.

James Bradberry loves to bump and run and get his hands on receivers. He says the Panthers defense will play more press this year, which he’s very much looking forward to after at times playing a little further away from the line of scrimmage.

Wait, you mean a cb who’s great at playing press is actually going to press and not be 7 yards off the wr every time?

I think he changed his motion post surgery given his restricted range of motion. He started arching his back and throwing flatter. He used to have more arc on his ball and was developing better touch before the injury

Unless we play 4 receiver sets or the FS drops down to cover the slot, the FS usually plays in zone cover shading to whoever they are doubling.  Of course they need to be able to play man and zone but not as much as a corner most times
