Good!!!!! Better to be smart about it! Cams got plenty of time between now and when we shock the NFL and kick the poo out of the Rams week 1 to build chemistry without unnecessary risk!

we should have never lost to san fran...that was the worst playoff loss since Cam has been here

The Panthers defense wasn't ready for a postseason run at that point. I don't like the 49ers but they had some very talented teams back then, and the Panthers held their own against them after that loss when we were able to round out our roster better.

None of these guys icing up seems like a big deal. Camp is just progressing and guys are playing physical and taking hits. Just need to manage them into the season. I’m sensing the staff is being more cautious with more guys this year because of last seasons issues. It’s also good because for the most part we know what we have with a lot of guys and we’ll get a better look at what the young and fringe players can do. Little needs all the reps and practice he can get. It’s like Armstead for the saints. It’s gonna take a year or so of seasoning but the tools are there. I remember Greg hardy working him now he’s a quality LT. I believe with time and support Little will turn into the pro we want.

I agree 100%. Resting guys and not pushing them right now might just be the best thing heading into the season. It also gives opposing teams less to work with in their pre-game recon. It's probably going to be vanilla offenses for the first few pre-season games and that's both fine and normal.

Come September, I'm sure Ron, Norv, Cam and the guys will put on a heck of a show.

We ain't seen a thing, yet.

The narrative that I like Grier more than Cam came about because I was excited that we got Grier, since he's a local product and by all personal accounts a good guy from a good family. I went through this same bullshit when the Hornets signed Jeremy Lin and I was stoked about them doing it. Suddenly, I couldn't be a Kemba fan. I was a Lin fan.

Or maybe I just liked both, like I like Grier and Cam. Hell, I like Allen too. I really like winning and I think all three can help us achieve that.

No love for Heineken?

    • Bryce has been playing the best ball of his career the last three games IMO. He wasn't the reason we dropped the game in NOLA. Seattle's defense will be his toughest challenge yet this season
    • I'll be at the game Sunday and up until last year I had a perfect attendance record. Now however I have seen us lose to the Chiefs (last year) and the Bills (this year). So we can no longer rely solely on my ability to pound overpriced beers to propel us to a win.
    • I haven't been able to watch Seattle on a dedicated basis but the Seahawks are a much better team by the all accounts: eye test, record and DVOA. Defensively they are sick. Best DVOA in the league first in rushing and second in passing. Offensively their passing game has been on fire this year led by JSN I can easily see this being like the Buffalo game where things just get out of hand for us early, that being said this league really is week to week and Seattle does have the disadvantage of traveling cross country for an early game.  If and big if, the Panthers are able to effectively run the ball and limit the amount of time Seattle's offense has to generate explosive plays we have a path to winning this game.  Seattle fans won't be happy to hear this but bad Darnold is always lurking in the background. He is truly an enigma to root for bc he will have an incredible throw that only a few people can make but then will turn around and throw the most bone headed pick of all time.  I think ultimately we drop this one as ultimately it's human nature to be looking forward to that week 18 game. But man how special would it be to be leaving the stadium on Sunday with a win and a miracle dolphins upset
