Thus why he needs pt.

Get him out there and work him in live action, then when the offense comes off have the OL work with him.  He11 they have the tablets on the sidelines now.  Point out what he was doing last series to correct for the next.  Then reps, reps, reps

Agreed.  No action like game action.  We have to treat him like he is going to be the starting LT and pray (for now) that he isnt.  Problem is, Williams needs LT reps too.

Williams needs reps too, but he's  a 4 year vet (even though he missed a year to injury)  1 series this game plus all the practice/joint practice reps he gets is enough.  Little is the future, and seemed like our staff wanted him ti start at LT this year with Williams at RT or LG

Again I agree,  BUT---LT and RT are different animals, and years does not equate to experience.  Williams has not looked that good at LT either.   I think it will take at least a year to break Little's bad habits.  Hoping for the best, expecting the worst.

Watch them tonight and let me know what you think.  I will do the same.

This may be the game that determines RR and MH future. Tepper’s All or Nothing view of the NFL is that it’s set up for teams to be 8-8.  The difference in a winning/losing record is coaching, GM, and facilities.  He’s done his part by spending money on the bubble and SC HQ.  Now it’s up to Ron and Marty.  If tonight’s LT is more matador than protector, there may be an answer in DC.  Washington has squashed the idea of trading Williams before but it’s getting closer to the regular season and we may have a tempting package.  Either Moton or Williams plus maybe a third round pick.  Gettleman always said that one person doesn’t determine a season, but this just may. Given time to throw, I think Cam could return to an MVP level, but one blindside tackle could end his season.  These are the kind of decisions that determines whether they keep their jobs or are fired. Tepper and the Huddle are watching.

Did you just say the future of our GM and HC hinged on a preseason game???

    • Jeremy Fowler draft intel on the Panthers: “Carolina was high on Proctor. If he somehow slipped to 19, he was a viable option.” “Caleb Lomu was on the Panthers short list too.” “Panthers weren’t totally comfortable with Stowers there at 49.”   https://x.com/panthersontap/status/2049827264972353727?s=46&t=xeIgh_-Vr2aKxBkBJdfnKA
    • No saying he mostly sucks is saying that he doesn’t suck the minority of the time.   Like if he took 17 tests and had a couple of really good showings and a handful of pretty good scores sprinkled in among the typical sub par results.   Like a golfer who went out and shot an 89.  There will be some real nice shots sprinkled in there but at the end of the day it is still 89.
    • It's worth mentioning... Game 1: Oct 11 in Raleigh. 4-3 OT win with a complete starting lineup. Game 2: Dec 13 in Philly. 4-3 SO win without Jaccob Slavin. Game 3: Dec 14 in Raleigh. 3-2 SO win with a complete starting lineup. Game 4: Apr 13 in Philly. 3-2 SO loss with the AHL roster.  Those early season games were no indication of the Canes team that finished the season. Miller and Ehlers were still trying to figure things out, Nikishin was still a work in progress and the Stankoven line was just another line. Make no mistake, the Canes team Philly will see is nothing close to what they saw at any point in the season. If the top line starts producing, Freddie stays hot and the blue line does what it does, this could be a sweep as well.
