And that means????????

He was during the Spring as well. Is he going to play backup and take backup money. He certainly ain’t under our nose as any team could sign him at any time. For awhile now.

I thought the prevailing logic was Grier & Allen suck and are incapable and we should sign Kaepernick just in case Cam gets injured...

...did I misunderstand this?

That's exactly what Eric Reid said we should do, was he wrong to say that?

The Colts night game a few yrs ago here in CLT was one of the wildest and rowdiest crowds I’ve ever seen here...it rained and it seemed like the entire stadium had been drinking all day...Gano ties it and then wins it in OT, again in the rain.....and Luck played really good

the only time Andrew Luck ever played the panthers. Wild. Luck's shoulder was also entirely separated that night.

pretty sure he was projected to be ready.  So based on what we know at this point.....yeah, he deserves some poo for the timing IMO.

Now, if we get more info on his health.  Something there we don’t know about yet?  I could change that opinion.

and as I said, I don’t bash guys for valuing their health.  I never poo on Otah like 99% of the board.  But unless there is something we don’t know I think his timing is shitty and he deserves a reasonable amount of poo for it.   Which frankly isn’t that much.  But it can mentioned

Lets be real. The dude blew a kidney playing football. That’s not a high ankle, that’s not a shoulder or collarbone, that’s not even an ACL, that’s you fug the other one, your dead. Add on the amount of unreported concussions. Its not unexpected.

It could have been you can play football or go on dialysis for the rest of your life. Which would any of you choose.

I don’t go to Eric Reid for roster moves and advice.

he quit 2 weeks before the season.

he quit because he said he was mentally worn out....2 week before the season.

he can do whatever he wants, and yeah, he's got nothing to prove...but he's quitting 2 weeks before the season starts. and he's quitting because he's mentally worn down. he's quitting 2 weeks before the season because he's not tough enough mentally to play the season.

You have no additional information on the situation. For all you know he was looking at IR again, he's dealing with poo at home with his wife (which is far more important than a damn game) and he has made enough money to retire and live the rest of his life in peace.

You sound like a real internet tough guy right now dude. Dude is a person first a football player second. I won't poo on a guy for just being over it all.

    • Reasonable. I mean I didn’t see a clear path to relief this season myself. As I have typed already, I think the QB FA class is more interesting next season and that draft is supposed to be stacked as well. There just weren’t many options this year.  When you have Tepper to contend with you have to tread lightly around this unless you are 100% certain and willIng to stake your job on it.   There were a couple of outings that helped Bryce a lot in terms of  thinking maybe he can do this, and if you are a supporter you are giving them a lot of weight. You are likely to think just get him some more help and he can do that every week. Which I think Tepper falls into that category.  And the playoffs, division champs, regardless of the way I see that, the supporters will also give that a lot of weight.    And the big one, the atmosphere In BOA for that WC game, Tepper had to be soiling himself over that. If you pulled Bryce out right now you had better be right and your new guy had better make the playoffs and look good doing it or you will be gone and your chance to build your old team back into respectability will be gone too.  So here we have Pickett on a one year deal, and Grier and King. I understand it.
    • Well, seeing as we play the Lions at home this year, pretty sure that rumor isn't true.
