Did FOX “safety rules” hurt Panthers

Didn’t get to watch the game, heard on WFNZ that FOX shut down cameras due to the storm and that it might have hurt the Panthers a couple times. They also said that since the refs would be left with only a couple views via replay that the game should’ve been stopped until all cameras could be usedhttps://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/tv-camera-angles-lightning-storm-probably-cost-panthers-turnover-on-downs-because-of-safety-rules/

I think it's safe to say that should have been a first, but let's be honest they had a long way to go to the end zone. It broke momentum, but the Panthers had plenty of opportunities later. They didn't deserve to win this one and I'm not going to hang the loss on this particular play.

The rain delay killed any momentum that Tampa Bay won from that turnover on downs. 

Then at the end of the game they gave us a VERY generous spot on that last drive on the Moore reception. 

Rivera also threw a bad challenge on the PI call and cost us a timeout at the end of the game (granted that should have been an illegal contact flag from the get go).

Serious wtf is a that poo? I mean if there is a lightning delay nobody is out, if it’s over that mean all the camera folks can go back and man their station. Ya, maybe don’t have the steady cam op out there running around with a ton of metal. But there’s a dozen other cameras at least.

The only thing I can think of is if it was before the rain delay they didn’t put the weather gear on the cameras and that was Fox’s excuse for slacking.

Likely there are union rules that govern the amount of time since a lightning strike X miles from the location. The NFL rule for the teams is 30 minutes. Seems like it was 60 minutes for FOX.

      They are 1 and 9 against the  Bucs in the past 10 games. the Panthers go as young goes.  QB1 ‘s are suppose to dictate and overcome  and elevate Everything the QB does affects every part of the team and Bryce is uneven. Canales and Bryce have  an uneven relationship too  as for Evero, the only thing that might save him is the injury to Baker’s left shoulder and oline injuries. I don’t even know how he is out there   I really feel their season ended last Sunday Canales’ division record isn’t great   Getting owned by the Saints and Bucs isn’t a good look

      Frankly surprised by the amount of people that want to hang Evero. This was a defense that was almost universally considered the bottom of the barrel before this season started. We’ve managed to stat our way to the middle of the pack whatever that means. Those critical of the zone schemes, what do you want? When even JC is getting burnt one on one by Olave you have little choice. There definitely have been moments where the zone blitz stuff has bit us. That said, are the third string linebackers (and nick Scott) covering poo anyway? This unit had only conceded 10 points going into the fourth quarter despite a litany of bullshit penalties on both sides. Them over performing is the biggest reason we are still in playoff contention.
