Eagles starting DT out for the year (Butler?)

Butler cant even break into being able to be activated.  Can we trade this bum for a 6th or 7th round pick to them?

I'd offer, but I do think the Eagles have some depth there (I'd have to look to be sure).

You kinda have to look at the flipside of the equation though. Are we really in a good position to be thinner at that position ourselves?

I think they also lost Malik Jackson for a while also.  

Hell I would take a 2026 7th round pick for Butler.

This strikes me as the kind of move we'd make right before Gerald McCoy or somebody suffered a season-ending injury.

Butler is worthless. I seriously doubt we could even get a conditional 7th for him.

You think other teams don't know the history about Butler or take notice of the fact that in a contract year for him we don't even see fit to activate him on gamedays?

We'd be lucky to get a sandwich for Butler let alone a draft pick of any value.

We could offer a 7th rounder if the Eagles would take him off our hands.  Iggles are too smart to do that, though.

I'm sure Hurney has at least put it out there.  At this point, any return on investment would be good.  A 7th is probably fair compensation at this point considering he's not signed beyond this year.
